Beautiful. The energy of these cards is amazing. My favorite deck ever. I'm definitely going to get the travel deck as well.
Item arrived as described. Presentation box is attractive and sturdy. Deck itself is extremely high quality; consisting of slightly larger-than-standard format cards printed on cardstock that’s flexible enough to shuffle, yet thick enough to be durable. Stunning collage artwork, with beautiful gilding accents. Guide book is highly detailed, with full-colour illustrations and explanations for each card, plus recommended spreads. Overall, an impressive and high-quality deck. Item cost was reasonable. Shipping cost was high. Delivery time was reasonable. Customer service was N/A. Recommended seller!
Like many, I discovered this deck in Laetitia Barbier’s book. Then I read the rave reviews and decided to buy one to learn more about the spiritual traditions of the African diaspora. First, I’ve read A LOT of tarot guide books and this is my favorite so far. The writing is both clear and concise, yet evocative. Every card description takes me on a journey, and it’s an uplifting, inspiring journey of tremendous depth. For example, I had never found someone before who interprets the 8 of Cups like I do and could put words to how powerful this energy is, and I found that in this deck and guidebook.
I’m a white girl temporarily in Maine, and I didn’t expect this to become a deck I use for myself and the people I’m reading for right now. And yet here I am using it all the time. I know it wasn’t created for me, but I love it and I’m so grateful for it.
